Laser Therapy
Advanced laser therapy to reduce inflammation and accelerate healing, without surgery. Serving Port St. Lucie and Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
How does therapeutic laser work?
Focused light at specific wavelengths passes through the skin and is absorbed by the cells underneath. That absorption raises their metabolic activity and draws more blood to the area — which is to say it makes the tissue work harder at repairing itself, rather than numbing what you feel.
It earns its place with irritated tendons, strained muscle, inflamed joints, overuse injuries and post-operative recovery. Most often it runs alongside rehabilitation, shockwave or regenerative work rather than replacing any of them.
Sessions are short and painless, there is nothing to recover from afterwards, and you can be treated on the way to work.

It depends on the problem and how long it has been there. A fresh injury may settle in a handful of sessions; something chronic usually needs a longer course.
