ACL reconstruction is a surgical procedure performed to restore stability to the knee after injury to the anterior cruciate ligament, one of the primary stabilizers that prevent the tibia from shifting forward beneath the femur. ACL tears commonly occur during pivoting, cutting, jumping, or high-impact athletic activities, and can also result from falls or traumatic injury. At ELITE Sports Medicine, we utilize advanced arthroscopic ACL reconstruction techniques using autograft or allograft tissue, selected based on age, sport demands, tissue quality, and personal preference. Diagnostic imaging and clinical stability testing help determine whether isolated ACL reconstruction or additional procedures — such as meniscal repair or cartilage restoration — are necessary.Post-surgical rehabilitation is structured to progressively restore range of motion, strength, neuromuscular control, and sport-specific movement patterns. Our focus is on protecting the graft during early healing, improving movement efficiency, and ensuring a safe and confident return to athletic performance for patients of all activity levels.
We are here to help you move stronger, feel better, and return to the activities you enjoy.
